:Clinical Care
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of health care errors.
- Provides direct care and related duties in NMC Provita and maintains current knowledge of nursing practice and standards
- Plans, implements and evaluates nursing care given to assigned patient in an effective and organized manner
- Provides for the physical, psychological and social needs of the patient and families
- Is familiar with, and understands, the Severe Care Domains of DOH.
Communication
- Communicates with a range of people on a range of matters.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to Charge Nurse, Shift in Charge,
coworkers and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Consults with other departments as appropriate to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the patient's needs.
- Communicates the mission, vision and values of the facility.
Personal and People Development
- Develops own skills and knowledge and provides information to others to help their development.
- Recognizes the necessity to continuously develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position.
- Attends training sessions offered by NMC ProVita, and upholds professional portfolio and 20 CME per year as required for licensure.
- Dresses appropriately to the expectations of the specific work areas and Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
Service Improvement
- Contributes to the improvement of services.
- Evaluates own and others' work when needed.
- Makes suggestions to improve services.

- Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with NMC ProVita policy and UAE Professional Code of Conduct for Nurses.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing in home country
- Active Basic Life Support training
- 2 years minimum clinical experience and recent ICU/long term care unit assignment
- Current valid registration in country of training and/or country of last employment
- Eligible for DOH licensing
