The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Francexe2x80x99s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

The contract duration of this VIE is between 12 to 24 months.
A VIE for a Tax Specialist position has arisen within Airbus Africa and Middle East(AME) in Dubai. You will join the Airbus AME Tax Team.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
Obtain and understand the applicable set of tax rules in new target markets and suggest best contractual/revenue stream model and necessary clauses based on tax optimization and compliance strategy;
Support in addressing regional tax & regulatory audits / investigations by modeling potential outcomes alongside Local finance teams,
Management and External advisors ;
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to local & corporate management to create strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks;
Participate in the preparation of transfer pricing obligations in accordance with the TP Group policy, including the review of the transfer pricing policy/documentation & benchmarking, returns & filing, or any other reporting requirements in collaboration with Finance teams and local external advisors;
Participate in the accurate and timely filing of all applicable tax forms e.g. VAT returns, WHT/CIT returns all taxes applicable to the Airbusxe2x80x99 AME subsidiaries;
Participate in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations globally including the preparation and/or review of required forms & reports for on-time submission to regulatory bodies (i.e.: Economic Substance Regulations xe2x80x9cESRxe2x80x9d, Country by Country Reporting xe2x80x9cCbCRxe2x80x9d, etc.).
Find and implement opportunities for process improvement of regional tax procedures;
Participate in the preparation and facilitation of tax internal cross-functions trainings;
This role will involve some travel for business once a month in the Middle East Region and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
University Master degree in Tax Law;
CTA/CPA/bar school (or local equivalent) and/or internship experience is a plus ;
Strong knowledge of tax rules sources,
compliance and procedures for corporations;
In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
Proficient in English, both spoken and written; a second language is a plus (Arabic, French, German, Spanish);
Hands-on individual with strong teamwork orientation ;
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills ;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Strong follow-through and thinking beyond mindset;
