Our client, a leader in the heavy machinery industry, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct on-site inspections and diagnostics of heavy machinery, including various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and their components.
This includes Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts, and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Develop and implement service plans to address equipment issues and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Train clients and staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy machinery technology.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven 5 years experience withAerial Work Platforms (AWPs)andMobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), including Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers,
Spider Lifts, Forklifts and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
- Experience with brands such as Komatsu, JLG, Haulotte, Genie, Palazzani, Comet and other relevant brands.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE,KSA and Qatar who are available for a face-to-face interview.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Valid UAE, KSA and Qatar driving license is preferred.
