:Candidates must have research and analysis experience in the automotive spare parts industry as this is a hands-on market research role.Our client is well-established automotive spare parts distributor with over 20,000 SKUs.We are recruiting an experienced research analyst from the automotive spare parts sector to join their Dubai operations.The successful candidate will perform qualitative & quantitative research related to market, consumers and competitors trends together with OEM vehicle spare parts volume predictions, product positioning and business development opportunities.Role Summary
- Conduct spare parts industry data research, collection, analysis and reporting on industry and inventory classifications and trends.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new products, customer and market trends to advice on new product ranges to stock.
- Analyze monthly sales reports to identify market trends, gaps and opportunities.
- Conduct customer feedback to obtain valuable insights on customer requirements to enhance the product portfolio.
- Build a strong ecosystem with various user groups, OEMs, partnerships and research institutes to identify technology and regulatory development and enhance company competitiveness & profitability.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 automotive market research experience with competency in gathering and analyzing market intelligence and dynamics, consumer behavior, new product research and advanced data collection of Model Master information.
- Deep expertise in market intelligence analysis using multiple data sources statistical tools and models to calculate market size, sales and penetration potential and opportunities.
- Strong data analytics experience with the ability to interpret complex data sets, convey data-driven insights effectively and convert data insights into clear, easily digestible presentations, graphs, and reports and actions.
- Advanced Excel (macros), Power BI, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL skills.
- Familiarity with statistical technologies (e.g., MATLAB, Python) and databases.
Education
- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Statistics, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates xe2x80x93 must be able to work in Ras Al Khaimah.
- Fluent in English.
- Professional appearance; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
