Eagle Star Metalic Furniture Industry LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site Coordinator and Supervisor to oversee the daily operations at our production and installation sites. The role will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising teams, and meticulously planning delivery and procurement schedules to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in site supervision, logistics coordination,
and procurement planning within the manufacturing or industrial sectors, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee daily site operations at both production facilities and client installation locations, ensuring all work aligns with the project plan and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site workers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient workflow across all stages of production, delivery, and installation.
- Monitor and report on progress, addressing any issues that could impact timelines, quality, or safety on-site.
- Ensure that all necessary permits, safety checks, and compliance standards are met.
Delivery and Procurement Planning:
- Develop detailed delivery schedules for finished goods and raw materials, ensuring timely and efficient transport to and from the site.
- Liaise with the procurement team to create accurate procurement schedules that align with production and installation timelines.
- Track the availability of raw materials and inventory,
ensuring the procurement of stainless steel and other necessary components is well-planned and uninterrupted.
- Communicate regularly with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm delivery dates, manage delays, and adjust schedules when required.
Inventory and Resource Management:
- Maintain up-to-date records of all stock levels for materials used in manufacturing metallic furniture (stainless steel, components, hardware, etc.) and ensure that on-site inventory is sufficient for uninterrupted operations.
- Work with the production team to forecast future material needs and preemptively plan procurement orders.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure that deliveries meet production requirements without bottlenecks or delays.
Team Supervision and Performance Management:
- Supervise on-site staff, including production teams, installation crews, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and health and safety protocols.
- Provide guidance and oversight, ensuring that all team members understand their responsibilities and project goals.
- Address any performance issues or challenges with the team, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on site progress, including milestones reached, material deliveries, procurement statuses, and any issues that could impact project timelines.
- Document and communicate any site-related issues, delays, or resource needs with management, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.
- Maintain detailed records of all procurement and delivery schedules for auditing and internal review purposes.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all site operations comply with local safety regulations and internal health and safety policies, including regular site inspections.
- Implement corrective measures and continuous improvements to enhance site safety and minimize risks.
- Promote a safety-first culture on-site, with proper training and enforcement of safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in site coordination, supervision, and logistics planning, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of metallic furniture production processes,
including raw material handling (stainless steel), custom product fabrication, and installation workflows.
- Proven experience in planning delivery schedules and managing complex procurement processes.
- Knowledge of inventory management and the ability to coordinate with procurement and logistics teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust schedules and workflows to address delays or unexpected issues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise on-site teams and coordinate cross-functional operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with medical furniture manufacturing, including the assembly and installation of metallic furniture such as narcotic cabinets, pass throughs, scrub sinks.
- Experience in working with stainless steel materials, CNC machining, and custom metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, ERP systems).
- Valid UAE driving license for frequent site visits.
