Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to join our team in Dubai. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods in a safe and timely manner. This position will start on 1st of November 2024.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers or goods from one destination to another within Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of all passengers and goods being transported.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with loading and unloading of passengers or goods as needed.
- Professionally interact with passengers, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring their comfort during the ride.
- Follow specified routes and time schedules, adjusting as needed to accommodate any unforeseen changes or delays.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UAE driver's license for the duration of the employment.
- Must have a clean driving record and be a safe and defensive driver.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with passengers.
- Familiarity with the roads in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is preferred, though the ability to read and navigate using Google Maps is acceptable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules or routes as required.
Please note that this is a temporary position, starting on 1st November 2024,
we might extend the employment depending on the work of the business and we will not be providing the candidate with UAE Visa.
