Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled bike driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders from the restaurant to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role requires excellent knowledge of local roads, a positive attitude, and good communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up food orders from the restaurant and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
- Follow the best routes and adhere to traffic laws to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Handle food packages with care to maintain the quality and presentation of orders.
- Communicate effectively with the restaurant and customers regarding order details, delivery status, or any delays.
- Verify customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, to ensure accurate delivery.
- Handle cash or card payments when required, ensuring proper handling of payments and receipts.
- Follow the company’s safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards during deliveries.
- Assist in other restaurant duties when not making deliveries, such as packing orders or helping with inventory.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and/or relevant permit for operating a bike.
- Knowledge of the local area and roads.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a delivery person or bike rider.
