PRIMARY / ELEMENTARY TEACHERS NEEDED IN ABU DHABI FOR AN AUGUST START. A private American curriculum school is seeking to appoint dynamic and creative primary teachers to be part of a close and collaborative team of educators in expansive purpose built premises. It is a happy school that is ambitious and keen to build on its current strengths, enjoying a wonderful family atmosphere in which many teachers have developed professionally under the strong and supportive guidance of the current headteacher. It is essential that interested applicants have the relevant teaching qualifications and though American experience is preferred other backgrounds will be considered.





There is an 80% Arabic and most students speak English as a second language so good skills of differentiation and cultural sensitivity are additional essential prerequisites. Applicants must: xe2x97x8f have a Bachelors of Education in Primary OR a Bachelor Degree Subject taught in the classroom with a teaching certiticate in primary; xe2x97x8f have three years of teaching experience; xe2x97x8f have a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher; xe2x97x8f be committed to the principles of 21st Century learning; xe2x97x8f demonstrate contemporary teaching methods and be competent in integrating technology into the curriculum; xe2x97x8f have experience with Web 2.0 applications; xe2x97x8f be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community. xe2x97x8f Have all required documentation to allow for ADEK approval The school is committed to the safeguarding of all its students and, therefore,
