Company Description
They are a fast-growing fintech startup building the next-generation loan origination system (LOS) designed for integration. Their innovative platform is being developed to streamline and simplify the loan origination process for financial institutions, ultimately helping them provide better customer experiences.
As a Backend Developer you will:
- Help them build the product almost from scratch.
- Build highly scalable production software, launch it, and monitor it.
- Work autonomously but also take an active part in setting up the overall architecture.
- Enforce good practices and perform PR reviews.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Are a hard-core builder looking to build something impactful.
- Are highly proficient with Javascript/Node.
- Have extensive experience with commercial cloud vendors (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Have extensive experience working in an event-based microservices architecture.
- Enjoy high-quality software development.
- Have a deep know-how of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Have experience delivering software to production and monitoring it.
- Have the architectural skills required to detect and alert about design flaws and potential issues.
- Are highly autonomous.
- Have good conversational and written communication skills.
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience with GCP.
- Have worked as part of a fully distributed remote team.
- Have versioning and releasing process know-how.
- Have modularization and library/SDK creation experience.
