Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the relevant vessel(s),including but not limited to
- Monitoring/Control of vessels' speed & bunker consumption
- Monitoring/Control of vessels' cargo intakes, bunker requirements, freshwater, Diesel, consumables etc
- Procurement of bunkers through the selected suppliers.
- Scheduling of vessels' port stay, including monitoring of pumping performance to optimize greater turnaround time.
- Appointment of agents for vessel’s port, bunker calls etc.
- Updating of in-house Shipping operational system
- Operational procedures for vessels
- Evaluating Pre/Post Voyage analysis
Recommend to the Team Leader/Manager(Comm Ops Department) on any operational procedures, which will improve the operation efficiency of the ships Assist in coordinating the dry docking schedule of the vessels in consultation with technical/Chartering/Operation Department.
actively monitor crew change /plans of travels. - update travel requirements and ensure availability of valid crew documents
Requirements
- Graduate in Bachelor in Nautical Science
- Must have min 2 years work experience in Marine field as operation coordinator
- Prefer applicants with GCC work experience
- Prefer applicants only who are available in UAE to join immediately.
