They are currently seeking a highly skilled General Accountant with extensive Odoo experience to join their finance team.Job Title:General AccountantKey Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Reconciliations: Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Odoo ERP Management: Utilize Odoo ERP for accounting tasks,
ensuring accurate and efficient data entry and report generation.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations, including VAT filing.
- Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Odoo Expertise: Proven experience using Odoo ERP system is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
