Job Title: Baker and Pastry Chef Location: UAE :
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Baker and Pastry Chef to join our team at our esteemed cake shop in the UAE. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience working in reputed cake shops or pastry shops in the UAE. Candidates are required to attach their portfolio and resume for reference. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a wide variety of items including cakes, mousse cakes, cookies, pastries, donuts, cupcakes, macaroons, and more, following traditional and modern recipes.






- Create new recipes and innovative desserts to enhance menus and captivate customers.
- Demonstrate expertise in baking techniques, including understanding the ingredients, methods, and techniques involved in making different types of doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings.
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all baked goods.
- Conduct daily and weekly procedures such as temperature checks, food labeling/dating, and storage to ensure food safety and compliance with regulations.
- Identify and address any hazards or defects in the kitchen or equipment, and promptly report any issues to senior management.
- Uphold strict standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and work area.
- Provide training and guidance to existing staff to maintain quality and standards.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary or related field.






- Possess PIC/HCCAP certifications, with preference given to candidates who hold these certifications.

Skills and Qualities:

- Excellent knowledge of key ingredients used in patisserie and their combinations.
- Proficiency in temperature management for optimal baking results.
- Mastery in the display and usage of sweeteners, including sugar-free dessert options.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to train and guide staff effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Creativity and innovation in recipe development and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
