Job Purpose
- Manage cost efficiency and the overall operational productivity of the company by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time and price.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that an organization acquires goods and services cost-effectively, timely, and efficiently.
- Maintain quality standards, minimize supply chain risks, and optimize inventory levels to support production or service delivery.
Key Accountabilities (divided based on Balance Scorecard 'BSC')
Financial :
- Boost the Supply Chain & logistics financial performance and increase net profit.
- Optimize the overall operational cost in the Supply Chain & logistics section.
- Boost sales, profitability,
and SC competitiveness among competitors by blending different pricing strategies.
- Manage supply chain and logistics budgets, controlling expenses and reducing costs where possible.
- Provide the best return on the Supply Chain & logistics section's yearly investments and provide insights on risks and opportunities.
Customer / Quality :
- Build a strong rapport with local authorities and top-brand suppliers to smoothly facilitate business needs.
- Achieve high sustained end consumer satisfaction level by acquiring and retaining highly valuable customers.
- Enhance cross-functional communication among the team to improve the internal customer satisfaction level.
- Create and enhance stable market position, SC competitiveness, and well-established brand image.
Internal Business Process :
- Lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain & logistics business strategy.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Optimize inventory performance by sourcing a variety of high-turnover items.
- Manage inventory and balance materials to meet demand without creating overstock, or excess inventory.
- Ensure the continuous supply steam of high turnover items by diversifying the suppliers and providers.
- Manage the data, information, contracts, insights, and market trends analysis and take corrective actions when needed.
- Oversee the planning and execution of transportation and logistics activities.
- Manage shipping schedules and ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers
- Coordinate with multiple departments, optimizing procurement, inventory, and distribution processes, and ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Promote a culture of compliance and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations,
industry standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels efficiently.
- Monitor supply chain risks, including supplier reliability, price volatility, and quality issues, and take proactive actions to mitigate them.
- Ensure there are contingency plans in place to protect the company's financial position in the event of supply chain disruptions.
- Provide full support to receive all the permissions needed and legal clearance from relevant authorities.
- Manage company data, information, contracts, insights, and market trends analysis and take corrective actions when needed.
- Generate regular reports on supply chain and logistics activities, costs, and performance.
- Ensure all employees have set appropriate KPIs that align with the overall department targets, analyze performance achievements, take corrective actions whenever needed, provide positive feedback regarding team achievements, and ensure high motivation levels.
- Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.

- Promote a continuous learning environment by offering opportunities, training, development, or coaching sessions for direct reports' career development.
