POSITION OF PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE / CLINICAL PROFESSOR IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION: The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for a position of Professor of Practice / Clinical Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. An initial three-year contract, renewable after successful review, will be awarded to the successful candidate who will be expected to teach the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mindset course (offered across campus), as well as other department-based entrepreneurship and innovation-related courses such as Managing Innovation and Change,
Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, and Business Venture. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and tax-free in the UAE. Free housing, paid utilities and other attractive benefits are provided.
Although we invite applicants from any field within the management and organization studies' discipline, priority will be given to candidates with teaching expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must have a PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited university. An ABD near completion will be considered. The appointee must have a strong teaching ability to engage in students' instruction with an emphasis on the development of practical skills. The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach four courses per semester.

Strategy and Entrepreneurship is comprised of a diverse group of 15 full-time faculty members who come from 11 countries and is gender balanced. Department faculty are all specialists and researchers in a broad variety of management topics. Their research has been published in leading management journals, such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of World Business, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Knowledge Management, and is regularly presented at leading scholarly conferences in the field.
