**Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting & Design**:

- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagrams for various MEP projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and low voltage systems.
- Develop detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings based on project specifications, engineering input, and site measurements.
- Revise and update electrical drawings to reflect design changes, client requirements, or site conditions.
- **Coordination with Engineering Teams**:

- Collaborate closely with MEP engineers and other discipline draughtsmen to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, and civil elements.






- Coordinate with other team members to identify and resolve any conflicts or discrepancies in design and drawings.
- Participate in design coordination meetings to review and update electrical layouts.
- **Compliance & Standards**:

- Ensure that all electrical drawings comply with relevant UAE regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Adhere to company and project-specific drafting standards, ensuring consistency and quality in all deliverables.
- Conduct regular quality checks on drawings to ensure they meet project requirements and client expectations.
- **Documentation & Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of all electrical drawings, revisions, and design changes, ensuring they are properly documented and stored.
- Prepare and maintain a drawing register, tracking the status and revisions of all drawings submitted to clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including material take-offs, bill of quantities, and specifications.






- **Site Support & Verification**:

- Visit project sites as needed to take measurements, verify conditions, and ensure that drawings accurately reflect the existing conditions.
- Provide technical support to site teams, answering queries related to electrical drawings and assisting in resolving on-site issues.
- Update as-built drawings based on site feedback and completed installations.
- **Software Proficiency**:

- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software to produce high-quality electrical drawings and layouts.
- Stay updated on the latest drafting software and technologies, recommending improvements or upgrades to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Generate 3D models and layouts if required,





supporting the visualization and coordination of electrical systems.
- **Client & Stakeholder Interaction**:

- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure their requirements are understood and reflected in the drawings.
- Prepare drawing submittals for client approval, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions in a timely manner.
- Support project managers in preparing presentations or reports that include electrical design elements.
- **Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure that all electrical designs and drawings incorporate health, safety, and environmental considerations, complying with relevant regulations.
- Identify potential safety hazards in the electrical design and propose solutions to mitigate risks.







**Preferences and Conditions**

**Requirement**: 05-08 years of proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman in the MEP sector within the UAE, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software, with the ability to produce both 2D and 3D drawings.Strong understanding of UAE electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
