The Restaurant Manager at Kababji Restaurant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and maximizing profitability. This position involves managing staff, coordinating with the kitchen team, implementing operational strategies, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest services.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to develop staff skills, enhance performance, and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by setting service standards,
monitoring guest interactions, and addressing feedback.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and meet financial targets.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including labor cost, food and beverage wastage, and revenue variance.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus that reflect customer preferences and market trends.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, update purchasing records, and implement effective inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate and prepare the restaurant for municipality audits, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are up to date.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally,
finding appropriate solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to achieve financial objectives.
- Monitor payroll, cash handling, and other financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role in the foodservice industry.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Salary**: From AED6,000.00 per month
