Job Description
Minimum Qualification
- PhD in veterinary medicine, biomedical sciences, biology, or a relevant field. - Background in bacteriology, virology, or parasitology. - Proficiency in molecular biology techniques. - Experience in data collection and analysis.
Preferred Qualification
- Familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques. - Knowledge in phylogenetic analysis, metagenomic sequence analysis, and bioinformatics tools (e.g., MEGA, BioEdit, Blast, UGENE). - Knowledge of statistical analyses and software (e.g., R, SPSS).
Expected Skills
- Highly organized. - Competence in Microsoft Office’s Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Experience with DNA/RNA extraction.
- Experience with conventional PCR and RT-qPCR. - Experience with gel electrophoresis.
Salary Range
