General Accountant

The business is in need of structure and processes and is keen to find a key accountant to help organize the company account with years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a proven track record of successfully organizing and optimizing financial processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- **Software Proficiency**: proficient in using accounting software
- **Attention to Detail**: Highly detail-oriented and organized. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Visible and recognized expertise in financial systems,





including but not limited to: general ledger, GAAP, financial statement presentation, budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Ability to work independently, ability to prioritize tasks, manage ongoing multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

**Job functions include but are not limited to the following**:

- Administration: Responsible for overall administration and quality of the organization and ensuring finances are in order.
- Maintain the general ledger, prepared tax returns, and performed other accounting duties as assigned.
- Prepare financial statement reports and documentation.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Responsible for revenue month and close activities.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports for upcoming Purchase Orders.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.
- preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Identify and communicate accounting and financial matters to managers and partners






- Identify performance improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency
- SAP ERP Knowledge would be an added advantage.
- **Education and Certification**: A higher degree or certification such as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is also valuable.
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP and IFRS.
- Tax Accounting Knowledge is incentivized
- Procurement Knowledge: Assess and improve the current procurement strategies and enhance control over material costs to sustain profitability.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
