Full job description
We are looking for a motivated Indoor Sales Executive with a strong background in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales, maintaining client relationships, and assisting in the smooth operation of the sales department. The role is based in our office and involves interacting with clients over the phone, via email, and through digital channels to understand their logistics needs and offer suitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out and engage prospective customers through various communication channels.
- Provide clients with logistics solutions tailored to their needs, including sea freight, air freight, land transport, and warehousing services.
- Maintain and update client databases and manage sales leads efficiently.
- Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and follow up on inquiries to close sales.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and report progress to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics services, including sea, air, and land freight.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
