BEAUTY THERAPIST TRAINER

We are looking to hire a skilled BEAUTY THERAPIST TRAINER to teach our students the skills needed to enter the beauty industry. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and adapting the course curriculum, teaching students the various cosmetology skills, setting tests, grading work, and mentoring students.

To ensure success as a BEAUTY THERAPIST TRAINER , you should have extensive experience working as a professional BEAUTY THERAPIST, a natural talent for teaching, and good interpersonal skills. A top-class BEAUTY THERAPIST TRAINER takes a hands-on approach with their teaching, ensuring that every student gets the required knowledge they need to succeed in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities:

1.





Learning and adapting the course curriculum.
2. Setting out lesson plans.
3. Ordering stock supplies for each course.
4. Teaching students the skills of the beauty trade.
5. Setting out written and practical tests.
6. Grading tests.
7. Mentoring students and providing emotional support.
8. Overseeing examinations and final practical tests.
9. Providing course feedback to the college or technical school.

Requirements:

1. Have a valid DHA license.
2. Obtain specified training for the procedure from a DHA approved training centre or by an internationally recognised entity approved by the regulator in the respective country.
3. The certificate should state the number of completed Continuous Medical Education (CME) hours and should satisfy the minimum requirements for competency for clinical practice.
4. Proof of hands-on training of at least (10) cases under the supervision of a Consultant/Specialist Plastic Surgeon or Consultant/Specialist Dermatologist.
5. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
6.





National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology certification.
7. Previous work experience as a cosmetology instructor.
8. 3+ years working as a BEAUTY THERAPIST.
9. Experience with teaching preferred.
10. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to handle stressful situations.
12. Patient and understanding.
