We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Executive with a background in the advertising industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the procurement process for marketing and advertising services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. This position requires a strong understanding of advertising agency operations, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors. Responsibilities: Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with advertising and marketing vendors.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable terms for the agency.
Regularly assess vendor performance and address any issues to maintain high standards. Cost Negotiation and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and budget constraints.
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization. Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the agency's business objectives.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in advertising and marketing procurement. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendors, contracts, and procurement processes. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and project management teams to understand their procurement needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective strategies for vendor selection and relationship management. Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Ensure that contracts are in compliance with company policies and industry standards. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of goods and services delivered by vendors to meet agency standards.
Address quality issues promptly and work with vendors to implement corrective actions. Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies relevant to advertising and marketing procurement.
Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and assess their capabilities. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Executive, preferably in an advertising agency or marketing environment. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Familiarity with advertising and marketing industry practices and trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
