Due to the continued success of our GEMS Founders School Dubai, We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Maths - Secondary to lead our passionate team of educators in our Mathematics department January 2025.

We are looking for an outstanding, innovative leader to join the GEMS Founders Family. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Maths teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Skills
Successful candidates will need to :
- Embody and role model our core values of Grow, Flourish & Succeed
- Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
- Have proven experience of teaching Maths to A Level.
- Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
- Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
- Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
- Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.
