**Job Summary**: The Warehouse Incharge is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The role involves managing people, processes, and systems to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity targets are met. The Warehouse Incharge will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of warehouse staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile variances.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- **Warehouse Operations**:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and maintain an organized warehouse layout.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse processes and procedures.
- **Team Management**:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
- Ensure all staff adhere to safety and operational procedures.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents.
- **Logistics Coordination**:
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments and deliveries.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in warehouse management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience with lean management or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Only Immediate joiners are preferred.
