**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible in the review, approval, issuance and closing all PTW (Permit to work) submitted by different parties having works within the area.
- Coordinating with EHS competent authority & other sectors regulatory authorities for facilitating implementation of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring emergency preparedness
- Supporting the promotion of a “zero accidents” philosophy throughout site.
- Supporting the implementation of processes and procedures for the effective management of health, safety and environmental activities.
- Attend meetings with sub-contractors prior to the initiation of their contracted works within projects to assess their systems of work.
- Develop and ensure safety induction training, for new contractors are carried out.
- Daily site inspection
- Preparing risk assessment.
- Arranging first aid training classes for employees.
- Conducting tool box talk.
- Arrange the safety classes and training for labors.
- Conduct HSE inspections and internal audits and assist in the site team in the external audits. Provide necessary HSE reports/recommendation as required.
- Liaise with the project supervision team, coordinate and resolve any HSE issues of concern.
- Organize weekly HSE meeting with the contractor and write up minutes for distribution. Attend weekly progress meeting.
- Reviewing of contractor HSE plans, risk assessments and method statements for all the activities, permit to works etc.
- Promote safety awareness to the entire project workforce.
- Hold weekly-minute safety meetings with workforce safety officers, project management and supervisors.
- Ensure that material safety data sheets (MSDS)are available for any hazards that are reported are fully investigated an assessment made as to the risks involved and a valued judgment as to the best and most reasonably practicable method of protecting the workforce, the equipment and any other item that may be at risk of damage from the hazard.
- Ensure that all PPE issued to the workforce is appropriate to the task and the environment.
- Assist the relevant supervisor to investigate any accident, incident or near miss occurrence with a view to ensuring as far as is reasonably practicable that any similar such accident, incident or near miss does not recur.
- Advise on methods to eliminate, minimize, reduce or protect against any perceivable hazards that are reported or inherent within the terms of the contract.
- Conduct regular inspections of the worksite and advise the supervisors and workforce against any dangerous practices that he may notice to be in progress.
- Ensure that any firefighting equipment or appliances installed especially at storage area and offices are relevant, serviceable and certified and that records of such are available.
- Conduct regular inspections of the offices and premises with regard to fire, electrical, hygiene and general household safety and record the same.
- Advise project personal on HSE related matters and monitors compliance with HSE plan and recommendations.
- Keeps HSE performance records and collect all statistics end reports.
- Inspect the scaffolding before the work shift with proper safety tags for safe working and environment.

- Should have 3-5years of experience.
- Required **NEBOSH** certificate.
- Should have good communication skill.
- Fit-out experience shall be preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
- HSE Officer: 5 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
