Tax and Accounting Advisor

A Dubai-based client we are working with specializes in providing financial tax consulting services to entrepreneurs and startups and is looking for a Tax and Accounting Advisor to join them.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining Day to Day Accounts, prepare receipt, payment, and journal vouchers
- Banking Transactions, Bank Reconciliation and Payable accounts reconciliations
- Effective cash flow management, Budgeting & Analysis
- Maintain petty cash transaction and statement
- Manage financial department with responsibility for Accounts Payable/ Receivable
- Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for the management
- Supporting team members on all Accounting & Tax related issues






- Prepare payment for suppliers and aging analysis of debtors
- Assisting Finance Manager in finalization of monthly closing
- Handle internal and external audit work support to solve the query and providing necessary document
- Coordinate with intercompany for reconciliation and timely closing of books.
- To interact with clients, handling their queries & issues. Keeping record of client accounts
- Maintain competency in dealing with clients and keep updated on the laws and regulations.
- Provide advisory & consultation to clients regarding VAT/CT and Accounting compliance.
- Ensure the clients are updated regarding the Tax & Compliance requirements and minimize their exposure to potential penalties.
- Bookkeeping. Payables & Receivables Management
- Maintaining Petty Cash. Liaising with the banks on daily deposits
- Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.
- Help taxpayers by using their federal, state,





and local codes and see to it that clients receive the maximum benefit permitted under the law of government
- Uncover potential deductions and credits. Advise against potential tax liabilities
- Ensure clients do not pay unnecessary taxes
- Review financial records such as income statement and documentation of expenditures
- Interview Clients to get a thorough picture of financial situation
- Verify totals on past forms for accuracy. Calculate and invoice for form preparation fees
- Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns
- Resolve customer complaints. Recommend additional products and services
- Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software
- Ensure a copy of the completed return is provided to the customer

**Requirements**:







- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in the field of Tax consulting of 3-4 years within the UAE in a client facing role.
- Qualifications such as ACCA/CA/CMA/CPA, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
