Job Description

1. The Project Management Office (PMO) controls all financial and contractual aspects of the Projects. As part of the PMO team, the Senior Quantity Surveyor is in charge of the financial aspects of the Project including finalization, cost advice and Value Engineering of Project during the Design, Tender and Construction stage of the Project. He/She will also assist the Bid Manager during the preparation of the Bids offers. The work is office based (which may be on a construction site) but also includes site visits: which can take up a whole day.

2 Line and Staff Relations: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a key role on both strategical and operational levels,





and shall directly report to the Operational and Production Director. He/She shall work closely with the various disciplines and stakeholders to support the the financial delivery of consultancy services agreements and project objectives, such as, but not limited to:

- ADP INGENIERIE Staff

o Operational Director

o Project Manager

o Contracts Manager

o Head of Tendering o Resident Engineers

o Planning Engineers

o Design Team, all disciplines

o Supervision Team at site

- External Collaborators

o Client Representatives

o Sub-Consultants

o Contractor's / Sub-Contractors resources

3 Key Responsibilities The Senior Quantity Surveyor's responsibilities are as follows

:- Prepare and maintain construction cost estimate Benchmark, specifically liaised to Airport Industry, regional and international, all disciplines

.During design stages

:- Coordinate with the Project Contract Administrator and/or the Project Manager for

:- Prepare Cost Plan Methodology and Repor

t- Prepare and update Cost Estimate at each design stage,





including cost reconciliation repor

t- Prepare and assist for Value Engineering Analysis and Repor

t- Prepare Life Cycle Cost Analysis and Repor

t- Prepare and assist for Risks Management Assessment and Repor

t- Prepare all needed documentation and support for presentation

s- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the design team and the Project Manager and/or the Clien

t- Assist in establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studie

s- Advise on Procurement Strategy - Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risk

s- Understand the implications of health and safety regulation

s- Assist to prepare Requests for Design Variation (RDV), including for construction cost impact assessmen







t- Assist during tender process, cost control and evaluation, and answers to RFI

s- Assist during preparation of contracts and finalization as require
