Electrical drafters prepare wiring diagrams that construction workers use to install and repair electrical equipment and wiring in power plants, electrical distribution systems, and residential and commercial buildings.
5-10 Years Experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed electrical drawings using Revit software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accurate representation of electrical systems.
- Review and analyze technical specifications and blueprints to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify and resolve design issues and conflicts in electrical systems.
- Coordinate with other draftsmen to ensure consistent and accurate drawings.
- Stay updated on industry standards and codes related to electrical systems.
