As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant with a focus on HR to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial and human capital. Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant with HR Focus, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial accounting functions while also providing strategic support to our HR department. You will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of our human resources.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and a deep understanding of HR principles and practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide strategic support to the HR department in areas such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to support the company's human capital objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and HR laws and regulations, including tax regulations, labor laws, and employment standards.
- Assist with financial audits and examinations, including responding to auditor inquiries and providing supporting documentation as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and HR laws and regulations and communicate potential impact to management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff and HR colleagues and provide guidance on accounting and HR principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR Management, or related field.
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial and HR data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with others.
