Job Description
Within the Area Middle East & Africa,
we will have a special focus on the Scaffolding business. This role will be responsible for driving the development of the Construction Scaffolding business in that area, with a particular emphasis on sales strategy development and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively enable the Country Organizations to set up and execute their local scaffolding sales strategy to accelerate the go-to-market process.
- Act as a sales trainer for Ringlock.
- Promote projects independently, presenting Ringlock and our services to customers and at suitable events (roadshows, etc.).
- Coordinate marketing activities (social media, etc.).
- Coach newly hired Scaffolding Sales Reps in the Country Organizations.
- Support hiring new Scaffolding Sales people in selected countries.
- Provide ad-hoc support in managing projects and determining project sales strategy on request by the country organization.
- Follow up on the project pipeline and plan customer visits together with the country scaffolding sales teams.
- Ensure constant communication with internal stakeholders such as Regional Directors, Scaffolding Business Unit, Industry, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
- Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification or similar.
- Excellent and proven knowledge of scaffolding systems and standards, including the Ringlock system.
- Intensive sales and business development experience in the scaffolding industry in the European region, ideally with a focus in the construction sector.
- Relationship network to potential scaffolding clients and other key stakeholders in the scaffolding industry in the region.
Skills / Characteristics
- Diplomatic approach and a high level of negotiation skills.
- Ability to gain trust, build rapport, and network.
- Ability to develop and drive a strategy and achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Excellent English skills; any other language is advantageous.
