Position Overview :
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Salesman to join our team at our mall kiosk. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for outdoor landscaping and flooring.
This role involves engaging with mall visitors, explaining our services, and generating leads for our landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome customers as they approach the kiosk.
- Provide detailed information about our landscaping and flooring services, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Explain the benefits of our sustainable and innovative landscaping solutions.
- Engage customers by asking questions to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Collect customer contact information and schedule consultations or appointments for our designers.
- Distribute brochures, business cards, and other promotional materials.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing kiosk display.
- Monitor inventory levels of promotional materials and report any shortages to management.
- Ensure the kiosk is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Achieve and exceed lead generation and appointment setting targets.
- Collect and record customer feedback and preferences to improve service quality.
- Participate in promotional activities and events to increase awareness of our services.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a mall or kiosk setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Knowledge of landscaping, gardening and flooring is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for entering customer information and scheduling appointments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as setting up displays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training or certification is a plus.
