Position : BIM Architect
Location : UAE

Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Architect with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the UAE to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes throughout all stages of design, construction, and project delivery.
The BIM Architect will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality design documentation and project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- BIM Model Development : Create, manage, and update detailed 3D BIM models for architectural designs, integrating structural,
mechanical, and electrical elements.
- Design Collaboration : Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop project designs, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
- Clash Detection : Identify and resolve design conflicts or issues within the BIM model, coordinating with various disciplines to avoid on-site problems.
- Project Coordination : Lead and manage BIM coordination meetings, ensuring that all parties are working with the latest project models and adhering to BIM standards.
- Technical Support : Provide technical support and training to the project team on BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and workflows.
- Documentation : Prepare and manage design documentation, including construction drawings, schedules, and specifications, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and standards.
- BIM Standards Compliance : Ensure that all BIM models adhere to established standards, including ISO 19650, and UAE-specific BIM requirements.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct regular audits on models and associated documentation to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail.
- Sustainability Integration : Incorporate sustainable design principles and green building standards (e.g., LEED, Estidama) into BIM models as per project requirements.
- Client Interaction : Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate design intent and progress, addressing any questions or concerns related to the BIM process.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field. Master's Degree in Architecture or specialized BIM certification is a plus.
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience as a BIM Architect in the UAE,
with strong familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and project execution standards.
- Software Proficiency : Expert in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.
- Technical Expertise : Solid understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, and construction methods.
- Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and presenting ideas clearly.
- Problem-Solving : Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving complex technical issues in a proactive manner.
- Knowledge of Standards :
Familiarity with international BIM standards (ISO 19650) and regional requirements (UAE-specific BIM protocols).
- Sustainability : Experience in integrating sustainable design principles and certifications like LEED or Estidama into architectural projects.
Additional Requirements :
- UAE experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of UAE building regulations, codes, and approval processes.
