Job Description:
As an English Teacher at Diyar Schools, you will play a vital role in inspiring a love for literature and language among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, facilitating discussions, and nurturing critical reading and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality of Learning:
Plan and execute dynamic English lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Utilize assessment data to tailor instruction and monitor student progress.
2. Conditions for Learning:
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and question literary concepts. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall English curriculum.
3. Developing Learning:
Provide constructive feedback to students and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Foster a growth mindset and celebrate literary discoveries and achievements.
4. Evaluating Learning:
Implement various assessment methods to evaluate student understanding and mastery of literary concepts. Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and support student growth.
5. Professional Development:
Stay current with advancements in English education and instructional best practices.
Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and resources.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country
- MOE Approval
- Degree in English or related field, with relevant Postgraduate qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of English literature and language principles
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students in the study of English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
