The Role RAK Academy, Khuzam is looking for a positive, driven and inspirational Head of Key Stage 1 to join the schoolxe2x80x99s middle leadership team. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to lead a key subject across the whole school (subject will be based on area of specialism and experience). Essential:







- Hold a bachelorxe2x80x99s degree and a post-graduate qualification in education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a proven record of raising attainment and improving progress.
- Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning.
- Be proficient in the development and adaptation of curriculum in a key subject.
- Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.

Desirable
- Ability to teach across multiple primary key stages.
- Ability to oversee and implement the analysis of student outcomes.
- Understand curriculum design and the concept of a developing an aspirational, cumulative curriculum.
- Take responsibility for leading the development and resourcing of the curriculum in collaboration with other Phase Leaders.
