Responsibilities
- Preparation and optimization of financing offers for clients;
- Preparation of bids when supporting clients as financial advisor or as Mandated Lead Arranger on public tenders / bid submissions;
- Financing structuring and optimization of the capital structure in order to determine the most suitable source of financing;
- Execute capital raising processes with banks, institutional investors, bond underwriters, rating agencies and other financiers;
- Assisting the senior team inmercial document negotiations on behalf of sponsors on advisory mandates and as lead arranger on lending mandates;
- Perform the entire internal due diligence process on lending mandates with the support of the Associate & VP;
- Management of day-to-day transactions with clients of the bank with oversight from the senior team;
- Develop fist-in class financial modelling capabilities as well as structuring, negotiations and credit skills in line with required standards, with the support of the Associate & VP;
- Manage all internal procedures including internal credit processes with the support of the Associate & VP ;
- Maintain a working knowledge of development in Project Finance as well as current transactions, trends in the region and opportunities in the market;
- Preparation of Fs, Bis, credit applications, information memorandum offering memo to support the advisory mandates and internal credit processes;
- Execute internal credit processes on arranging mandates in accordance with internal procedures, management guideline and decisions;
- Prepare material for marketing of cross-selling business to clients;
- Assist,coordinate and ensure regular follow-up in developing primary and secondary distribution channels with banks and non-banks with Syndication and insurance teams;
- Assist syndication in the distribution process;
- Prepare the marketing material to existing or potential clients for developing and sourcing financing opportunities;
- Contribute directly to internal presentations and reporting;
- Ensurepliance with IEF's workbook, DIFC Branch Guidelines andpliance requirements;
- Keep up to date with new tools / systems development and ensure that the new tools and properly implemented / used;
- Ensure that all business reporting tools andpliance tools are regularly updated;
- Ensure a swift coordination with the Middle Office and DPM team;
- Prepare internal and external marketing / munication on all closed deals.
Profil etpétences requises
- Post-Grad / Masters' degree level;
- Prior experience in Infrastructure & Energy Finance in a reputable financial institution, advisory firm or relevant industry;
- Basic knowledge in Project Finance;
- Basic understanding of the various sectors of infrastructure (energy transition, environment, transport, social infrastructure, digital infrastructure, etc.);
- Proven numerical, financial skills, and financial modelling experience;
- Strong credit analysis skills
