We are looking for a PR Account Specialist with experience in the F&B;, lifestyle, and tech space. Whilst this job description is by no means exhaustive, it does encompass the majority of potential day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of PR strategy, goal setting, and execution for food, lifestyle, and tech clients
- Brainstorm unique angles to generate relevant earned media in top tier titles
- Formulate strategy, ideas, press releases, media pitches
- Manage Soul’s own social media and keep an eye on social trends to keep the channel up to date and interact with potential talent and clients
- Manage photoshoots from mood boards, client/photographer coordination, prop sourcing
- On-ground styling, sorting, and organizing
- Develop, maintain and leverage upon strong relationships with Third-Party service providers such as translators, photographers, printers, suppliers, etc.
- Keep track of all important industry happenings: New editors, corporate announcements, events, awards, and concepts in the industry.
- Ensure contact information details of key Media relationships are continuously updated
- Monitor media coverage for each client, spot key trends and share formal coverage reports with clients on campaign performance.
- Form relationships with influencers to activate relevant talents for different clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with relevant key media members.
- Coordinate all Soul meetings – Issuing meeting invites and then subsequently monitoring meeting confirmations/rejections
- Coordination of any Media, Client, Third-Party deliveries by managing the scheduling of Soul’s driver.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism/Marketing/Business Studies
● 1-2 years working in a PR agency, Media or Social Media
● Experience in digital and/or offline PR and marketing campaigns would be ideal
● Prior experience in the Lifestyle, Food & Beverage or Tech industry would be preferred
● Fluency in written and spoken English
● Ability to work proactively and with a high attention to detail within the parameters of a high performance team
● Confidence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
Excel & Powerpoint)
● Preference will be given to candidates with comfort in the use of any graphic design software
