Al Maharat Private School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified FS Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young learners, focusing on their early development across a range of academic and personal growth areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of FS3 students,
encouraging critical thinking and curiosity.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and educational development of each student.
- Assess and monitor student progress, offering timely feedback to students, parents, and administration.
- Use differentiated instruction strategies to address varying learning abilities and styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with the latest curriculum developments.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and behaviours.
- Integrate technology and modern educational tools to enrich learning experiences.
- Promote the values of diversity, inclusion,
and respect in the classroom.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
- Certification: Teaching certification recognized in the UAE.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in an FS/early years setting.
- Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to student growth and development.
- Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum or similar frameworks.
