Job Title: PR Account Director
Our client, a leading well-established PR Agency, is looking for a PR Account Director to join them in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a primary contact for the client.
2. Oversee all Public Relations programming from concept/planning to activation; bring a value-added approach to issues and projects.
3. Implement programs that resonate with diverse multicultural consumer segments.
4. Build, lead,
and develop engaged and dynamic teams; serve as an important mentor to mid and junior-level team members, fostering respect and collaboration within the team.
5. Deliver strategic, engaging, and persuasive presentations to articulate ideas to clients, colleagues, and others effectively.
6. Ability to balance multiple projects/issues seamlessly; encourage effective delegation of project goals.
7. Assess program effectiveness, ensuring ROI and efficient use of client budget.
8. Accountable for quality control and review of all planning decks, recaps, status reports, work-back schedules, results, vendor and partner contracts, and overall project management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of developing and implementing coordinated Public Relations strategies that apply the full scope of the communications mix, including:
1. Media relations
2. Influencer outreach
3. Community partnerships
4. Events
Experience working as part of an integrated marketing team while helping to lead cross-agency work streams for local/regional campaigns is a priority.
Additional requirements include:
1. 8 years of relevant work experience; agency experience in the consumer PR category is a requirement.
2. Proven experience running day-to-day client service and project management of large multichannel brands with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
3. Strong experience with both social media and traditional media.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish speaker preferred but not required.
5. Experience engaging with and presenting to mid to senior-level clients.
6.
Outstanding judgment when working with diverse media outlets, team members, client contacts, and vendors.
7. Very organized with unfailing attention to detail.
8. Handling Govt./Semi. Govt clients in the UAE will be highly beneficial.
