Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years Teaching experience
- Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language

- A high level of professionalism and consideration for the well-being of children
- Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities

Job Description:
Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Teacher – Homeroom UAEN for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the Academic Year 24/25.

Key Task:
To deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Good communication at all levels
- Developing positive relationships with all members of the school community
- Planning engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum
- Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly
- Working with parents to ensure the happiness and best academic outcomes for all children
- Cooperating with curriculum support staff to support children’s development
Teaching and Learning:
- Clear understanding of the curriculum
- Organizing classroom provision and learning resources
- Planning, preparing, and presenting sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class
- Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching
- Observing and assessing children in line with school assessments
- Being reflective of the classroom provision and adjusting planning and curriculum accordingly
- Meeting with other professionals if required
Assessment and Data:
- Taking responsibility for the progress of a class
- Meeting requirements for assessment and recording of student development
- Using data from assessments to influence further planning and provision
- Providing feedback to parents on a student’s progress
Behavior Management and Duties:
- Following the school’s behavior policy
- Managing classes effectively to inspire and motivate pupils
- Maintaining good relationships with pupils and exercising appropriate authority
- Being a positive role model and demonstrating expected attitudes and behavior
- Promoting self-control and independence of all learners
- Carrying out duties as directed within the school’s policy
Wider Professional Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a curriculum action group
- Supporting and participating in school events and activities
- Communicating effectively with parents about students’ achievements and well-being
- Contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Running a weekly ECA each term
