The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels.
These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities.
A little taste of your day-to-day
- Organize and supervise regular gym / fitness related activities and events to maximize members enjoyment / use of fitness center and to keep ahead with our competition
- Develop and maintain professionally safe and effective fitness procedures, programs and activities in the fitness center and ensure proper fitness practice at all times
- Co-ordinate the aerobics / exercise program and studio usage and continually seek ways of introducing new ideas to maximize revenues
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness center ensuring clear standards are always met and equipment is always in good working order
- Aware of the rules and regulations of the gym and how to deal with guest applications on memberships and their process
What we need from you
- Good level of spoken/written English
- Flexibility in shifts & tasks
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar environment (4-5* hotel)
- Gym-instructor / Personal training certificate in Level 2 or Level 3 along with First Aid
