Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of cleaned garments to identify stains, damages, wrinkles, and other defects such as puckering, bubbles, color fade, color damage, and color spill.
2. Verify that items have been properly cleaned and pressed according to established quality standards and customer preferences.
3. Collaborate closely with laundry personnel to communicate quality expectations, provide guidance on garment care techniques, and ensure adherence to standards.
4. Identify deviations from quality standards, and work with relevant team members to address issues promptly.
5. Effectively communicate quality-related information to laundry staff, supervisors, and managers.
6.
Participate in regular meetings with managers to discuss quality performance, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
7. Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation of quality checks, findings, and corrective actions.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a laundry quality control role or a similar capacity within the laundry and hospitality for at least 2-3 years.
2. Sound understanding of fabrics, garment care techniques, stains, and laundry equipment.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor imperfections.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and managers. Proficiency in English is a plus; however, the ability to communicate and understand is essential.
5. Problem-solving aptitude to identify quality issues.
6. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
7. Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
8. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality,
and a strong work ethic.
9. Adaptability to handle a range of laundry items and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Familiarity with laundry quality standards and best practices in laundry operations.
11. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the laundry facility's operational schedule.
