Key Responsibilities of Hotel Receptionist:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering a warm and professional demeanor.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
- Manage guest reservations, confirm booking details, and make adjustments as needed.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general inquiries from guests.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as early check-in, late check-out, or room changes.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts.
- Address guest complaints or issues and escalate to management when necessary.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
Eligibility Requirements for Hotel Receptionist:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- A hospitality or tourism-related qualification is preferred.
