- Train chefs and assistants in relevant aspects of pastry.
- Schedule and coordinate the work of chefs to ensure that food preparation is on time and within budget.
- In the absence of the Chef de cuisine, take full responsibility for the running of the kitchen.
- Assist in the employment and retention of all staff.
- You will attend both external and internal training courses, developing your skills and fine-tuning your food and beverage acumen.
- Members of the Kitchen Department are responsible for ensuring that all visitors to the hotel are delighted by the quality, creativity, and variety of our food.
- Collaboration and report to head chef , both when creating menus and during everyday tasks.
- Supervise daily operations, assigning tasks, and overseeing the kitchen staff.
- Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations.
- Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent quality of food.
- Minimum 3 years experience as head chef in an Indian restaurant in UAE.
- Well versed in North Indian - Mughlai/Punjabi Cuisine.
- Carrying out instructions of the Head Chef , Assistants, and Sous Chefs.
- Maintain record of stewards and duty roster.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in the supervision of all colleagues engaged in the Bakery kitchen.
- Hold a daily and monthly meeting with the Bakery kitchen colleagues.
