The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
1. Prepares for weekly revenue meeting with reports and suggestions to maximize revenue in the outlets. Work closely with Revenue Manager and Revenue Analyst in preparing weekly forecast for Rooms, F&B; outlets and C&E.;
2. Using the tools provided and in compliance with the IHG standards, maintains, updates and shares information in the areas required, rooms, F&B; and C&E; revenue Management.
3. Monitor competitor pricing,
understand the dynamics of the local market and the demand generators, and recommend appropriate actions.
4. Implement upselling practices to maximize revenue.
5. Under the supervision of the Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue, coordinate the preparation of the Departmental annual budget and work to achieve the budget by monitoring and controlling the departmental operations, considering revenue and expenditure.
6. On an ongoing basis, control and analyze revenue trends to ensure performance against budget/market trends; implementing corrective measures where necessary to produce positive business results.
7. Effectively manage staffing costs by preparing efficient work schedules in line with legal requirements.
