Position Summary:
The Team Leader - Reservations is responsible for overseeing the reservations department to ensure exceptional guest service and operational efficiency. This role involves managing a team of reservation agents, optimizing room inventory, and collaborating with various departments to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and train a team of reservation agents.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professionalism.
Reservations Operations:
Oversee daily reservations operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking processes.
Manage room inventory and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
Handle complex reservations and special requests with a high level of attention to detail.
Guest Service:
Ensure that all guest inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Resolve any issues or concerns related to reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the front desk and concierge teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze reports on reservations performance, occupancy rates, and market trends.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols.
Maintain high standards of service excellence in line with the hotel’s 5-star reputation.
