Performing medical tests. Monitoring patients condition and checking vital signs, such as blood pressure. Conducting operations and medical procedures. Providing health education to patients and family members/health promotion.

**Healthcare Assistant education and training requirements**:
have completed either a Level 2 Certificate in Work Preparation for Health and Social Care, Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Some applicants will have also completed an intermediate apprenticeship as a Healthcare Support Worker. Exceptional applicants are members of the Royal College of Nursing where they were able to receive additional training and professional development courses.
