Position Title: Junior Commercial and Marketing Officer
Reports to: Senior Commercial Officer
Division: Commercial
Department: Commercial
Job Purpose
Main job purpose is support of the commercial team in business developments, marketing activities, and to liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
Functional Accountabilities
1. Commercial:
- Prepare analysis for commercial decisions.
- Prepare draft of commercial and marketing contracts.
- Help commercial team with contract management.
- Engage with Airports procurement for commercial and marketing activities.
- Prepare, create, analyse and interpret Airport statistical data not limited to traffic, but also operational and financial.
- Marketing & PR:
- Prepare marketing and market analysis.
- Prepare marketing and brand awareness initiatives.
- Help with marketing activities including social media and web-page.
- Translate marketing, commercial and PR texts to Arabic language.
- Engage in brand awareness activities within Emirati community.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with CID and airport partners to manage smooth Airport passes approvals and management.
- Liaise with other local (Arabic speaking) stakeholders and commercial partners in commercial development/operational topics.
- Communication & Working Relationships:
- Internal:
- CID: facilitate airport passes for airports business partners.
- Procurement: in case of procuring advertising or other activities.
- Finance: for invoicing, contract and customer credit management.
- External: Commercial and Marketing partners of the Airport.
Qualifications
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Educational Qualifications:
At least bachelor degree in Marketing / Business major or similar.
Professional Qualifications: Professional background in business development, marketing agency, or data analysis welcomed.
Experience Required: Eligible for University graduates.
Other Requirements: Active, engaged, thorough, transparent, dedicated.

- Social & verbal skills (English and Arabic)
Competencies Level of Proficiency:
- Able to analyse data and prepare marketing initiatives

- Able to politely and clearly communicate commercial interest with stakeholders
Technical Competencies: MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
