Job Title: Registered Nurse (DHA Licensed) - Dental and Dermatology
Reports To: Clinic Manager / Senior Medical Staff
Department: Nursing / Dermatology & Dental Units
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a DHA license and experience in Dental and Dermatology services. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist healthcare providers during procedures, and ensure that the clinic’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role demands attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assist in the preparation and administration of patient care plans.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor vital signs, record patient history, and perform routine nursing duties.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment procedures, skincare, and oral hygiene.
- Clinical Support (Dental and Dermatology):
- Assist dentists and dermatologists during procedures, including minor surgeries, extractions, implants, chemical peels, laser treatments, and other procedures.
- Handle dental and dermatology instruments, ensuring they are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Apply dressings, administer medications, and monitor patients post-treatment.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., laser machines, dermal fillers, dental X-rays).
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and DHA regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans.
- Assist in inventory management of medical and dental supplies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nurses and support staff.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensing: Valid DHA license as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Dental and Dermatology settings.
- Experience in assisting with both medical and cosmetic procedures in dermatology (e.g., laser treatments, injectables).
- Experience in dental procedures such as root canals, extractions, and routine dental care.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Skills:
- Proficiency in operating dental and dermatological equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
