While formally established in 2020, Makeen Technical Services really started back in 2009 when Makeen Properties established a Facilities Management department to manage its growing portfolio of privately owned properties in the UAE.
In those formative years, the department’s capabilities grew to the extent that, as the next logical step, Makeen established an independent entity to not only service its properties but offer expertise and services to other property owners too.
From day to day building maintenance to management of all aspects of property operations, including long-term energy saving solutions, Makeen Technical Services has the experience and capacity you need.
Job Description
1. Daily operations of chillers,
chilled water pumps, AHUs, FCUs, Window AC units and Exhaust and ventilation systems and MEP Units.
2. Monitor and control panels for the Air Conditioning Equipment.
3. Preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance for all A/C and MEP Equipment.
4. Installation, testing and commissioning of new A/C units of all types.
5. Monitor and operate the Building Management system and controls.
6. Ensure smooth flow of chilled water in all systems including to tenants' chilled water supply.
7. Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of chillers, and all types of Air Conditioning Equipment.
8. Attend to all emergency calls at any time.
9. Report faults noticed in the system to the department head and carry out corrective actions and repairs as per superior’s guidance.
10. Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
11. Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of plumbing equipment.
12. Maintain records of all maintenance works done and spares changed.
13.
Maintain stock for all AC/MEP items and assist other technicians in storekeeping.
14. Maintenance of all types of pumps such as centrifugal, reciprocating and rotary pumps.
15. Build strong relationships with our client/tenants based on a work and personal level.
16. Monitor and report to the supervisor all other subcontractor works.
