Ventures ONSITE ( a product by Ventures Middle East, is a subscription-based platform utilized as a business development tool providing accurate and detailed information on completed, ongoing, and future construction projects.
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to sell MEA Construction Projects Database to the construction industry and to meet and/or exceed the assigned quota within an assigned target.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure his/her territory achieves or exceeds required quota
- Independently develop processes to obtain leads through possible sourcing opportunities, and work closely with company partners to leverage prospects/clients
- Contact potential clients to assess their individual needs and demonstrate how the products can meet or exceed these needs
- Face-to-face or virtual meetings required with all clients
- Professional communication in written form is required
- Develop and submit comprehensive proposals for all potential clients
- Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts
- Keep regular contact with clients to ensure they are receiving excellent support and are happy with the service
- Attend exhibitions and conferences where the company is participating, to promote the company's products and services
- Ensure the company's image, its products, and services are presented to clients and prospects in a professional manner
- Assist Account Manager with sales and marketing activities
- Assist Research Team if needed in collecting any information for product improvement
- Identify prospects for Ventures ONSITE other services

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience
- At least 2 to 3 years of sales experience
Relevant Trainings
- Use of MS applications
- Communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Negotiating skills
- Prospecting
Skills (Wherever required)
- Understanding of the Construction & Energy sector
- Demonstrated experience developing processes to obtain leads through comparison and evaluation of possible sourcing opportunities
- Expertise in territory management and organization
- Proven ability to achieve goals
- Demonstrated earnings history
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Self-motivated to work independently, with team support, to close business
- Demonstrated commitment to completing tasks and objectives
- Effectively work with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
