Position Title: Sales Manager
Report to: Office Manger/ Operations Manager
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, structuring market segments, identifying new sales streams, setting and achieving sales targets, and ensuring the overall growth of sales, revenue, and customer base. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of sales achievements and the ability to train, motivate, and evaluate a high-performing sales team.
**Team Training and Motivation**:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
- Motivate and lead the sales team to achieve their individual and team targets.
- Have ability and experience to train and motivate sales team
- Target oriented and structuring achievable targets for sales team
- Experience to review via a proper evaluation for salespeople
- Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Share past experiences and successes in sales
**Market Segmentation and Sales Techniques**:
- Structure market segments and prepare related sales material and techniques.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
- To ensure that to meet with the set sales targets and new customers onboarded.
- Identifying and prospect potential customers in the UAE market, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and other businesses with logistics needs.
- Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
**Sales Performance Evaluation**:
- Implement a robust evaluation system to review salespeople's performance.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to improve individual and team performance.
- Explore and identify new streams of sales and revenue.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets and increase market share.
- Set realistic and achievable sales targets for the team.
- Monitor and evaluate the team's performance against these targets.
**Internal Communication**
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and coordinators, to ensure smooth execution and delivery of services to clients.
- Providing coordinator with the client SOP’s.
- Securing approval for credit facilities from senior management.
- Assisting Finance department with collections.
- **Any other responsibilities will be assigned to you by management.**
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales experience
- Minimum 32 years’ sales experience in UAE as transport sales job position
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong ability to train and motivate a sales team.
- Target-oriented with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must have valid UAE driving license.
**Experience**:
- Sales: 5 years (required)
- UAE Sales: 3 years (required)
- Sales Position in Transportation/ Land Department: 2 years (required)
License/Certification:
- UAE Driving License (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 100% (required)
